Finally

A lot of you know that I have been through 3 hip surgeries since 2007, resulting in a hip replacement this past April.  It was a more complicated hip replacement than the usual ones because of past 2 surgeries.  I have seen the surgeon and I don't need to go back for a YEAR!  I am siked!  So next summer I should be basically pain free musculature wise and hip wise (i still get occaisional hip pain) and will be able to run and jump, which I can't do now (too soon after surgery).  I look forward to a healthy year and avoiding seeing the surgeon again!

Melissa.

Hi Melissa,

I am so happy for you, and glad you are doing good. I am still having that hip pain too, but it has just been 3 months since my hip replacement. I still have pain in the area of the incession off and on. But bascially doing great, I go back to see the surgeon in Jan. then after that one year :-).

Take care, hugs,

Cindy

Hi Melissa,

Wish I could be there the day you jump up an down

and run. How will you know when it's safe to do that?

Time flies, it will be here before ya know it. You are

obviously doing the right things so keep it up. Sludge

I don't know when I can jump and run yet---I know that I tried to run and it KILLS and I stop dead in my tracks---feels like it's gonna fall apart inside literally (I feel a pull and it moves around in there--very weird feeling).  Same with jumping.  But it's only been 5 months so I guess that's normal.  I'm guessing next August/September things will be back to normal.  He said a year and I will be back to normal.
