I get sick from Chicken pretty often. I hardly ever eat it out at restaurants. I think I have a sensitivity to salmonella. The only way you'll know is to eat chicken from the same place you got that last one again and see if you get sick....but I don’t' recommend that :)

Thanks Lexi, I am finally getting back to normal...not sure if it was actual food poisoning but it was the only thing that could have made me sick.  All I had with it was pasta and that wont do it.  I just had something to eat and so far I feel ok.  Unusually full but ok. 

To migrainesurgery, I had placed it in the back of  the fridge, so I am pretty sure it was stored appropriately; although maybe it wasn't, who knows.

To tbellluvsfashion, I'm not going to try it again..maybe at a future date but not anytime soon :)

Sorry to hear you got sick Melissa.Did you check the time on the chicken?They are only good to hold under the heat lamps for 4hrs.Some people who cook these products don't think about what could happen and change the time expired tag.I have seen it done working at Walmart Deli.Just a thought.

Hi Yvonne, no I didn't check the time on the chicken--didn't know about the 4 hour thing.  The friend I went with didn't get sick that I know of but wondered if the chickens were from the day before just kept under heat during the night.   We were there really early so it could have been possible, but I dismissed it as no, they wouldn't do that---I am wondering now if that happened.  Thanks for letting me know about the 4 hour time frame...I'll look from now on, but I don't have the appetite for one  any time soon !
