Johnny Cochran, the famous Lawyer for OJ Simpson, died of Brain Cancer @ 58. His family and friends claim that his cell phone was stuck to his head most of the time. He used an Analog Cellphone more so than a digital cellphone. Analog phones emitted alot more radiation than the digital ones. Analog phones are obsulete now. Most people don't even talk on cellphones now, everyone texts. The evidence about cellphones causing brain cancer is wishy-washy. If kids start to get finger cancer, I'm throwing my cellphone away.
On the July 6, 2009 show, Summer Hazards, in the archives, it says "and learn the dangers of cell phones" but I looked at the show synopsis and it didn't mention it...did anyone catch what they said about it?
Also, just the fact the 2 are linked in general (cell phones and cancer) means someone must have correlated the 2 for a reason. The article (2nd one) doesn't seem to link the two, but apparently studies have been done on it.
I have yet to hear that it cell phones can cause cancer. However, I have heard that they can cause accidents....by users who are driving, not paying attention....and the rest is history!

PS--I know there was a segment on a show they had, but I was wondering what people have heard other than that.
Melissa.
You know these days they say everything is causing cancer. What you eat,drink,ect....
Maybe it is a scare tactic to get the teenagers off. They can't walk without a phone to the ear. I even see them in the public restrooms....yak, yak!
I keep hearing about that too, but mine is in my purse and I very seldom use it. It is on all the time because of family living so far away.
Guess we will find out later......

I wonder what started all the hype about cell phones and cancer -- something must have triggered it enough to make the news and stuff.
