I was shown these links (below) to read about the dangers of soy. Personally I don't in general like soy (ie soy milk, veggie burgers, tofu, etc), but there are foods I do like that contain soy like cereals, crackers, tunafish (canned), spices, sandwich spreads, candy, energy bars, and the list goes on. Here is a list on the first link below that tells about which common soy products to stay away from and 5 reasons why they aren't good for you:

The second link, below, talks about fermented vs unfermented soy, how the fermentation process is done, and the importance of fermentation:

I didn't know anything about soy until I read these. This 2-part article really interested me so I wanted to share it with others.

I completely agree with what you've said/articles you posted!
I don't like soy products either...and you know me, i'm vegan! I think the point about processing is a very good one. When a product (like, 99% of soy products out there) says "soy protein isolates"--stay away!!! It's been processed and is now toxic.
The only soy I eat is what they suggested...edemame every once in a while as an appetizer. And I try to get organic edemame from WFM frozen food section...non-GMO is very important when it comes to soy. And for an occasional asian stir fry I use gluten free soy sauce which is fermented, which is what they say in the article is okay to have.
Thanks for posting!
Thanks for posting! I have never really liked soy, but this really opened my eyes. I eat so many foods with the soy (isolate, etc) it is almost unbelievable. I'm going to really watch the things I eat. Chances are I wont eliminate all foods that contain soy, but some I really don't need to eat and most likely won't buy anymore.
Melissa.
