I got something in the mail from Consumer Reports talking about how most foods with blueberries do NOT contain REAL bluberries. They are really bits of sugar, hydrogenated oil, artifical flavors, and food dyes. Here are the details:

I totally believe it! Reminds me of something author Michal Pollan says in the latest book I'm reading..."Beware of health claims on processed food packages." If it has to try to convince you that it's a health food, it's not." In this case, it's false advertisement with images of big, juicy real blueberries.
So true GreenFish! I actually thought there was a "nutritional" component to "blueberry" foods, but realize it is really just a bunch of sugar.
