My name is Melissa Davis. I am a 36yr old mother of 3.  My 2 youngest (Ciera age 2 and C.J. age 1) are disabled and no one has been able to figure out what is wrong with them.  They have over 200 seizures a day, can't sit up, crawl or even hold a bottle.  They are both at about a 4 month old
development level and deteriorating.  

My 2yr old Ciera, has a G-Button attached to her stomach for feeding and administering all her meds (a lot of strong meds that aren't even making a difference in either of them).  They are extremely happy babies, always smiling, never cry, yet suffer so much.  I do everything I can for them and all my attention is dedicated to my babies 24/7. 

My husband and I have been together almost 4 years. Because of the constant attention needed for my babies, we haven't even had a honeymoon yet! 

My 16yr old son, Kory is a full-time student, has a part-time job, helps around the house, and surprised us by getting CPR certified at school because when Ciera has a bad seizure she sometimes quits breathing and requires CPR. He has learned to do all that I do just so I can go to the store every now and then, but even then the trip is quick. 

Arkansas Children's Hosp. has tested them for everything they know, yet it all comes back "normal".  I'm afraid for my babies.  We have been told that they may only have a 50% chance to live until the age of 3yrs old, yet they aren't even diagnosed with anything.  How can that be!  Isn't there anyone out there that wants to find out what's wrong with them.  What if it's something treatable? 

We are a low income family since I had to stop working to attend to the babies 24/7.  The children are on medicaid and SSI, so there isn't much else we can do.  We don't have the option of taking them to other states seeking medical help because of our financial disposition. 

I'm losing my mind with worry!  How could anyone give a child a life expectancy of 3 years and not have a reason why?  This is a mystery that needs a dedicated staff of knowledgeable doctors and professionals, because Arkansas has practically stopped trying. Please pray for my babies.  My prayers can only do so much, but like the lord says, prayer is powerful in numbers. Thank you for your time in reading this, I hope you open your hearts to my family.
