My 3rd baby came so quickly (20 minutes in hospital). the nurse took one look, down there, & yelled, "Don't push. Don't push!" Dahhh. My son was born so quickly and without a Dr. he suffered motor brain damage, but he was one year before I asked to see a specialist. The heartache, as parents, exercising this little boy's arm and leg muscles that had shortened, was very difficult. We were told he would never skate, never tie his shoelaces. etc.. Today he is a computer programmer and can type quicker with one hand than most with 2. He DOES skate and he DOES tie his own shoelaces.Be very aware with your newborn if they show little, or no interest with playing with toys etc. with BOTH hands.
