Dr. Ordon’s Hangover Remedy
As always, The Doctors encourage responsible drinking, and only in moderation. But if you do happen to over-do it one evening, Dr. Ordon swears his homemade remedy is a surefire way to kick those “morning-after” blues. He claims his smoothie recipe has all of the nutrients needed to replenish the body after a hard night of drinking. The concoction includes: A banana, two cups of orange juice, one can of V8 Juice, two cups of soy milk, some soda water and ¼ teaspoon of salt.
To ensure results, the plastic surgeon advises adding the following supplements:
- 600 mg Vitamin C
- 1 Vitamin B complex tablet
200 mg cysteine, an amino acid that counteracts the negative effects of acetaldehyde (from alcohol).
