If the doctor says there is no problem, maybe you should get a 2nd opinion with a Urologist .  In the meantime maybe you could use a good pad that is made for problems related to what you are going through.

I agree with melissaw72. You should go see a urologist because this is a medical issue. It could be something as simple as Overactve Bladder, Urinary tract infection, or it could be something more serious like problems with your spinal cord. Your diagnosis will depend on the history you provide to the doctor. You should make a list of everything that you think may be relevant, and take the list with you to the doctors appt. Make sure to list when this problem started, how often it happens, whether or not there is any pain, whether you have had any back injuries, whether the urine is discolored, anything that may be useful for the doctor to get a clear picture of your problem! I hope this info. helps and I wish you good luck.

Hi, I just recommended vitamin D on your acne post.  Now I'll do it again: ask your doctor for a vit D blood test. One of the most annoying conditions I had while vit D deficient was slight urinary incontinence (and bladder cramping and a sense of urinary urgency but not much would come out). If your doctors find no bladder infection, no kidney infection, nothing on a cystoscopy or CT scans, and if they have no other suggestions except to give you a diagnosis of exclusion such as interstitial cystitis, you need to rule out a vit D deficiency. Before your Dr. tells you that this is hogwash, I would encourage him/her to do some searches of the scientific databases. I and many of my friends have turned out to have a vit d deficiency. Many of them never mentioned bladder problems before, but as soon as I brought up my symptoms and my D deficiency, most of them are now talking about it. Besides a vit D defiency, none of us were getting sufficient magnesium in our diets.  We had all cut out magnesium-rich foods like potatoes, nuts, and greens because our digestions were all getting too finicky and couldn't handle fiber well anymore. Although resolving the D deficiency and adding a magnesium supplement has helped resolve many of our unexplained digestive problems, aches, and other problems, the bladder problems have been the most persistent.  If you do have a D deficiency and you are not getting a healthy amount of magnesium, you will find that resolving these two things will greatly help your bladder, but you may continue to have intermittent problems. In this case, work with a physical therapist trained in pelvic floor physical therapy, ask for training in biofeedback, Total Motion Release, and kegel exercises to retrain your pelvic floor muscles. I am also now trying a fibromyalgia treatment called guaifenesin (www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com).  No info on this yet.  Hope you get better.

A few things that may be against you in this trying to deal with this.............

1. are you over weight? when I was overweight I had to wear a pad almost everyday. I lost 40 pounds and have not had any problems since.

2. have you had any babies? pregnancy can cause you to loose some elasticity in your bladder causing leakage. If this is the case talk to your OBGYN he/she may be able to assist you.

Good luck!!!!
