Keeping a Journal

Yesterday I started walking and what a difference it has made. I finally went to my calendar and counted the number of days on the 17 Day Diet. Well to my surprise I was on day 11 what happened to 2 whole days???

I realized how important journaling is. Very important. It will keep you on the correct day (LOL). You will know exactly what you are and are not eating or drinking. And to help you start a ritual to reinforce your goal.

I need motivation to put each day on a positive path. I am reinforcing my goal through an inspirational reading, prayer and support from this community. Learn to devolp your own ritual for a day and journal journal journal. It will be your best friend. You will notice patterns of how your days began or ended. If you stayed on program or not. And learn more about your behavior.

Good Luck to all and have a blessed day tifa  ♥¸ . ♥¸ .♥¸

Hi LSHABAZZ, you are so right about keeping a journal.  I do because sometimes I forget what I've eaten and what I have left to eat. I think it is so important to journal because you may forget to eat something your supposed to or not eat. At the top of my journal I also put the foods I can eat on that particular cycle to keep me on target with the food I'm supposed to eat.  You are also right about being in prayer for the Lord's support; we can't do it without His help. Continued success and good luck with your journal!!!  Be blessed.

@lovette1994 Hope this note finds you in a better place than when we last spoke. I have gotten back in the saddle and ready to make it work this time around. I put myself back on Cycle 1 and no more excuses. God willing. I am journaling too more today. Hope to hear how it's been for you ♥¸ . ♥¸ .♥¸ tifa

Good Morning LSHABAZZ and lovette!

Today is my second day on the 17 day diet..(lifechange) So far so good... But I do agree w/ the journaling. I have a date book w/ each day broken down by the hours. I write what time i have breakfast, lunch, dinner snacks and I also put down what exercise I do that day. (i journaled before starting the program).. It does really work, and keeps you on track.
