Hi everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that I did get back to my MD and was blessed with fantastic news. So I want to share this with all of you :0 Can you tell I am happy?? Yes I am so much. My cholestrol was 300 12/2010.. I than started the plan 17DD in 1/2011. I got my blood work back Monday and my numbers now are 249. I could not believe it when the MD shared this with me. I told her I had stopped taking my meds she prescribed and changed my food intake and lifestyle. She was impressed. :0 I was even happier than her. I do not have to take the meds for that. My cholestrol is still high I need to get to 200 or below. So I have 2 goals now to drop to 160 in weight and 197 with the cholestrol. Wish me luck I feel nothing can stop me now... Have a blessed day ♥¸ . ♥¸ .♥

WOW! That is great news. So how much weight have you lost so far? I just finished cycle 3 and started over on cycle 1 three days ago. I have lost 24 lbs. so far. Keep us posted.

Wow! I logged onto the site today because I was thinking about you and I saw this post. See? This works! Not only for weight loss but for health. And it's really not that hard to follow. I always thought people were a) lying b) crazy when they'd say gooey desserts didn't even appeal to them. But, I'm finding that to be true. I used to LOVE bread. Now I just look at it like it's cardboard with calories. I might take a bite or two of dessert but that doesn't really appeal to me like it used to. I guess there are no more 5 pound boxes of chocolate in my future!! Have a great vacation! I'll be anxious to hear how you did once you get back.!

Congrats on the the cholesterol number! I forgot to check back in on May 15 but I did succeed with the challenge! I lost 17 during the challenge time for a total weight loss so for of 73 pounds! How did you do?
Did any of you see Dr. Oz yesterday? They were talking about the dangers of refined carbs and said carbohydrates are more addictive than cocaine!
Awesome ! You will do it ! I am working on my cholesterol also. Doing blood work soon. Dropped some each week for the last four weeks but slowly. At least not gaining. Sometimes only part of a pound. This week looks to be good. Somewhere between 2 and 4 pounds. Keep yo-yoing on the scales but water weight could be the reason, who knows. At least I'm loosing again. Really proud of you. Wow, good life choices ! Good job!
Hi Everyone. Happy to let you all know, was so pleased to hear Ishabazz Cholesterol numbers were down. Mine has dropped also, in the last 3 months and Dr. said results were good. Still have to keep going. Says are at risk for diabetic, but not a diabetic yet. My Grandmother was a severe diabetic most of her life, and hopefully making right food choices, I and many of you won't have to deal with that. When it is hard to eat as I should, I am going to try and remember why I am doing this. It is to be at the best health I can be at every day and to be able to do the things I want with my life, as I age.

Hi Bella Bear Girl, I will not be home for another 4 days. This vacation has been such an eye opener to me and my body. I am glad I am listening more to it. LOL. I added exercise and thru the pain LOL. I feel better and have energy. Down a few pounds too.
I did go to Carmel for lunch and that was a struggle. Now I feel like you about bread and desserts. Last night again we went out for dinner and I did so good. Pat on my back. I left the rice and breads alone. I found while reading they are not good for us so checked that off. Desserts have always been my obstacle not anymore. I guess once I sat down and started reading all about the contents in what we used to eat I realized I eat alot of sugar and that is DEAD...... Not for me anmore. Praise the Lord.
I also realized when I got bored. Yes even on vaca you can get bored and angry I reached for food to comfort me. Not now. I see how that has been bad for me. I just got to deal with my emotions better. So now I exercise to fill that void. Hope to hear from you soon. Sorry I got long winded. Just happy to see you online. ♥♥¸ . ♥♥¸ .♥♥
Hi everyone, Sorry it has taken me this long to get back with yall. I have been on vac for 3 weeks and back home for a week and getting back in the groove. To Wasps63 I weighed in today at 190.6 that is a total of 30 lbs... I am happy cause I was on steriods and than on vacation and still came down. Woo Hoo for me.....
