I am a 34 year old mother of two daughters.  I work for a surgeon's office in Portsmouth Ohio and I am currently in nursing school to become a RN.  I have diabetes, among other auto-immune disorders.  I love healthcare.  I can't imagine working in any other field.  I went to a vocational school to learn administrative medical assisting and have worked for a physican since the age of 17.  My oldest daughter is 11 and my youngest is 9.  I have been married for 16 years. 

My interests other than my daughters and healthcare is reading and computers.  Although my reading is generally based around medical mysteries and a lot of my computer time is spent on research for medical disorders.  Since I am gone during the daytime viewing of The Doctors, I wasn't aware of the show until I had to take a sick day.  I have had it on my DVR to record it everyday since then!  I usually watch all my episodes of The Doctors during the weekend on my days off in between studying for my nursing school.  (Did I mention that I am obsessed with healthcare, lol)

I love to meet new people and would love to meet other people in the healthcare professional who are diabetics also.

BTW, The Doctors is my new favorite show!  The only other shows I watch in my free time is House and Grey's Anatomy.  See a theme here?
