Since my car is down again, I am having to walk more. I really don't mind, tne weather hasn't been that bad. I have some really good shoes for walking. But, an old problem happened again. I was up walking from my nephew's house to work early one morning. It was still dark , about 5:15. I only had 1.2 miles to walk, mostly down hill. I paced myself and didn't rush. but, just about 15 minutes into walking, I noticed that even though I had on my mp3 player, sound was fading. I turned it off and noticed I couldn't hear any other sound. I was in close to a feild where I could see deer eating. I could see and hear the freeway, usually. I noticed color was faiding too The next thing I knew, I opened my eyes and was sitting on the ground, actually, leaning against a tree. My bag was next to me. It took me a moment to get up. I checked my watch and noticed that ony about five minutes had pasted. I felt a little shakey and was very thirsty. I drank down amost two bottles of water and felt as if I needed to have a bowel movement. I managaged to make it to work okay. I took my blood pressure and found it to be 120 over 70 and my blood sugar was at 101. The est of the day I felt kind of tired and wanted to go home and sleep. But, I had a double shift and stil had to spend abothr night at my nephew's house. But Monday morning, after I got off of work, I did go home and sleep off and on for the rest of the day, and most of Tuesday. I have had simular things happen, but not in months. The last time, I think it was while I was at work. this time, some one saw me pass out, but I convenced her not to tell anyone. She didn't alert anyone, she hust stayed with me. I was only down for about a minute that time. I told her it was because I hadn't eaten anything that day. I had, just like I had this time. I have started seeing a doctor and have told her aobut this. I have had test done but they came back clear. So, is it part of menopause or not? Any guesses out there?

I wish I could help. I don't drive so i ride the bus all the time and even though i ride the bus there are some places i have to walk and it's good excercise for me. hope you feel better soon.
i'm sorry this is happening to you. IMO, I don't think it is part of any change, It seems like you have so much stress on your plate (from other blogs I read of yours too) that maybe this is how your body is telling you to take it easy. I'm really glad you got to sleep Monday and Tuesday when you could. Does your doctor suggest anything; what does s/he say? I hope you start to feel better soon.
Melissa.
Melissa, I agree. stress... anxiety.. both can cause you to black out like that. oh, I know just what you mean re the hearing and sigh going then you wake up! I think you need to destress. hope you feel better.
