If anyone is reading this comment, i hope it helps someone. I've have had halitosis all of my life and have found no help from products, doctors, dentists, hygenists, otolaryngologists, etc... The only thing that's relieving the halitosis is being a vegetarian. I've now been on a vegetarian diet for about 4 months. It took about 3 months before I noticed it becoming better. I'm not a vegan(?), because I still eat eggs and broths. Who knows, maybe becoming a vegan would completely eliminate halitosis. I'm just not there yet, but I may be soon:) I'm HAPPY with the results, but I still think I have a little ways to go. hey i was watching tv (qvc)this morning and there was a product called triOral on there and they say its for people with chronic bad breath. they said they searched the market and theres nothing out there like it(altho it did remind me of SmartMouth because its a two-step system) go on qvc.com and look it up. u can see customer reviews on it and everything!might be worth a try! i've bought things off of there before and am always pleased. They always have top notch things on there so this might be good

Since I have been using it I have really noticed a difference,  I still have my coffee in the am also.  but I scrap my tongue and brush and gargle and it seems to being working.  It kills the VSC which is what causes stones and bad breath.  I hope it works for you as well.  I tried that Breath rx and it is just a cover up not a fix or cure.  Breath appeal is suppose to kill the white on the tongue as well, I useed that for awhile also but that was a year ago.  It seemed to help.

well i went and got therabreath. i tried it this morning but i had just drank coffee which prolly wasnt a good idea but i cant give up coffee in the morning for nothing. lol. It did seem to make more of a difference than the stuff i was using. i'll try it again at lunch and before bed and let u know.

kerry. hey!wow i'm glad it worked for you. i must have looked at the wrong website because i have tried therabreath before and it did not work for me. i cant think of the name of the kind i'm using now but it was recommended by the doctors and i've been using it since i saw the show but it hasnt really worked. i think it may have been targeting morning breath and thats not totally what i'm dealing with here. i've been poking those tonsil stones out of my tonsils but i cant see nor find anymore and my breath has not improved this week at all. :( Like i said, i've tried everything in my local drug store (walgreens too). therabreath, smartmouth...everything with no true help of the problem. they're all more temporary fixes. and you can get most of them at walmart for much cheaper. breathRx...that is the name of the mouth wash i'm using now. maybe i'll try therabreath again. the doctors recommended breathRx tho.

Hi Carrie,    I am going to try that and maybe get that mirror,  Since I am a guy I am sure my friends will laugh at that,  lol  I don't care tho as I can't keep living in this shell.  Actually its not living its just existing.  Thanks for getting back to me and for the info.

loner1 i actually bend out a hair pin and use that lol but i've been using my finger. like if u keep massaging and like pressing with force they start poppin out. its weird. I think it was someone01 who said he had his tonsils removed but didnt notice a difference but he also mentioned that his togue had that white coating and my tongue looks pretty normal.i have a little white but nothing unusual. so i think me and him maybe be dealing with different problems that have the same effect. Duesy said she use to have tonsil stones but doesnt anymore. and she has not had her tonsils removed. but like i said if i just look at them in the mirror i dont see or feel any but when i poke and prod they start coming out. i have a 10x magnifying mirror(excellent investment for this problem) u should get one. i dont gag easily so thats why its easy for me. but i'm def. noticing an improvement. so much so that i'm actually feeling hopeful that this could be cured. i dont have health insurance but i'm gonna some how get to a ear nose and throat specialist and ask them about this.

No I still have my tonsils but when I look in the mirror I don't see any stones or anything,  But I will check closer,   What are you using to poke them with??    I gag so easy just brushing my tongue it will be a challenge if I have to poke that far back,  lol

Hey. just seein how everyones doing. so i've been pluckin and squeezing and poking the s*** outta my tonsils and i have dis-lodged so many of those tonsil stones. its like they're inside my tonsils and when i press and poke for like an hour infront of my mirror, quite a few come out that i didnt even see or feel. And i've noticed my breath had definatley improved. The tonsil stones smell so aweful i'm thinkin maybe my tonsils are my problem. i dont know about everyone else. i def. notice a difference when i woke up in the morning. Although it still not completely gone i'm thinking this is where my problem is coming from. and i read on the internet that your tonsils can swell a little when one of these stones is lodged in it and my tonsils are always big one day and small the next. or one is big and one looks small. i've been doing this routine tonsil cleanin/gaggin myself every morning and night and and drinkin plenty of water, even before bed and i def. see an improvemnt. loner1 did u say u had your tonsils removed already? or was that someone?
