About Me
I was a war baby born in St. James, MO on Bastille Day (July 14th) 1917. When I was 8 in 1925 I rode an airplane with a barnstormer named Charles Lindberg. My Father was 7 years old when the Civil War started so I lost him when I was a teenager.
I was raised by my older sisters in California in the HeyDay of the great movies and movie stars. I love the old movies and songs. I am an accomplished pianist.
I was a welder in the shipyards during WW!!. My husband was a B-25 pilot.
I love to buy coats for friends in need.
I have been very sick for 9 years. Usually I get the sickest about an hour after breakfast.
I visited the Mayo Clinic. I went to the Cleveland Clinic twice. I tried an internist at Vanderbilt. They came up blank.
Recently a neuroligist in Bowling Green, KY diagnosed me as having AUTONOMIC DYSFUNCTION.
All 3 major clinics have a speiality section for this problem. Why was it so easy for their internists and endocrinologists to not recognize my problem? I did have fun with them though, making them guess what Bastille Day is and was I really born in 1917!!! They said i looked much too young to be that old.
Would you explain the Autonomic system and what can "dysfunction' in it? What chance do I have of getting some relief from the terrible sickness that I get from this problem?

I often rode with my husband, Charlie, who trucked for some years. He would leave Portland, Or every other Friday and make a 5000 mile trip for FlavorPac Foods. I had many interesting experiences especially with a clown like him!
He is a great support for me in my illness.
