The Book

As I posted on my first blog. I am 3 weeks out from having total left hip replacement. I drive a school bus for our small town so I do not have paid time off. I was going to see about ordering the 17 day diet book. I can not afford it at this time. I am going to try and find  away to get but at the price of 40 plus dollars it will take me a while. I wanted to join Golds Gym too but thats another 45 a month. I will continue to read what is being posted buy others and maybe I will pick up some of the info from the book here and there just to get me through until I can get that book! I am determined to do this and reach my final goal this year. From watching the show to the research I have read on this diet I think it may be just what I need to guide me to sucess! Good luck to all who are on their way..Keep us all posted on the basics till we can get the book to help us too!

Well, if just buying the book it's $25. I know, a little more than expected.. with shipping it'll be about $33, a little less actually. I would suggest save $ until you get to that amount. I'm not sure you'll find everything online to succeed in the diet... I'm reading things (in the book) that noone have written about.. I think people get the book and go to the cycles... Good luck

I don't understand where you got the info that the book is that expensive. Did you go to the 17 day diet website to purchase the book?

The book is only about 22 dollars from 17daydiet.com   I would be so much easier to follow if you could get the book.  Hoping you are doing your post op hip exercises.  Good luck!

Hi!  If I'm not mistaken, the 17-day challenge book AND DVD is only $29.00.  You can order it from the following link:  http://www.the17daydiet.com/shop/   If this still seems expensive, you can order either the book (for guidance and recipes) or DVD (for exercise) separately, depending on what is most important to you.

I think that getting in some regular exercise now BEFORE your hip surgery will help you enormously when you finanlly have that operation because your body will simply FEEL stronger. Also, ask your doctor what simple exercises you can do after surgery to maintain flexibility and mobility.

Let us know how you're doing, won't you?  Good luck!! _________ PENNY

I haven't received mine yet, but I ordered the book/dvd combo for $29 on the 17daydiet.com site, but you do have to pay shipping and some states have to pay tax.  i believe my total for the 2 was $37 and some change.  A small price to pay if it's a manual you can use to change your lifestyle.  So good luck everyone!
