Its me,Lacey, from the show

created on: 07/08/09Hey there...its me, Lacey from the female hairloss show. I would love to meet any young women that have dealt with hairloss. Especially if they are in their 20s or are in high school. I would love to be a friend and be a positive outlook. I work with cancer patients and I know life could be so much more worse than just hairloss, but  to a woman or a a young female, it can be traumatic. I remember sobbing all the time and just being so scared. I still to this day feel as if everyone is looking at me and so many people tell me they cant even tell. Its a constant struggle to be a woman and have hairloss. I can honestly say that in an hour in the day, I think and look at my hair about  times...I am terrified to wear a wig, even as I work with people wearig wigs all day who have lost their hair to chemotherapy. One day at a time. So basically, if there are any young women out there with the same problem as me...I would love to chat. Take Care.

Hi Lacey....When I turned 40, I noticed significant hair loss in the front and at the crown of my head. I tried different shampoos, moisturizers, conditioners, tonics you name it, I tried it. Nothing worked. At the height of my suffering, I was in GA visiting my sister when I saw your story on the Doctors. I sympathized with your pain and knew all to well the embarrassment and shame that accompany hair loss victims. I was cheering in my seat (with tears) when they offered you the Revage 670 treatment along with the Laser Comb. I shared your hope and prayed that you would see results. It is good to know that all turned out well. I plan on getting the LaserComb next month and am currently looking for a dermatologist in my area that offers The Revage System. It's next to impossible to find someone though, since the machine in quite expensive and most dermatologist don't have a unit in their offices. I do have a question for you. How has the LaserComb worked for you? I'm interested since it doesn't look like I'll be getting Revage treatments. Plus it's extremely expensive...as you know $3000 - $5000 a year. I need some hope. I wish you all the best!!  ;-)
