Would you lie for 5 million dollars? Or tell the truth and keep your dignity and grace?
Remember a polgraph will be given!
Mine would be TELL THE TRUTH and keep my dignity and grace!

I would never put a price on my dignity and my good name.
ditto--I wouldn't either.
Melissa.
Lies catch up to us and money runs out. Our dignity and respect as well as our reputation would be hard to get back.
not in a million years !!!

This is why you are all my girls!!!!!
No, would never lie,I agree with my friends
on this one.
My integrity is worth more $$$$$ than anyone could dish out. When I go to meet my maker, I can't take the money with me but He will see that I have my morals (a wee bit dented over the years but improving with time) and integrity intact. I'm not saying I'm perfect, far from it, but a liar is not one of them. Just remember that a half truth is a whole lie. There are a few sayings by Mark Twain and Abraham Lincoln which are great:
"If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything. "
"No man has a good enough memory to make a successful liar. "<!--GCLE-->
That's my opinion on the subject. Have a great day!

I believe that everyone comes to life for a purpose and I also believe that one of my purposes is to Honor the Truth Code. Like what Dr.Randy Pausch said: "You are only as good as your word" and there is no better way to say it. Further to that, I have read a very nice sentence from a Novel called the "The Kite Runner", it says:
"If you tell a lie you steal someone’s right to the truth, If you cheat you steal someone’s right to fairness."
At the end, no one can get away from a lie!

And as an answer, I will tell the truth because my dignity and grace are not for sale.
Thank you.
