Hello My friends..
I am starting to pay attention to detail and this is a good thing. If FEDEX promises me delivery by 10am lets say and my friend or my Husband is waiting until AFTER 3pm before, I wouldnt care, never would I call NOW well they have COMPANY POLICY and I am using it to MY BENEFIT.
FOR FEDEX if you get into a "CONTRACT WITH THEM".. AND THEY FAIL TO MEET TIME PROMISED $$$$ BACK ON YOUR CREDIT CARD. The stinky or corprate loop is it takes 3-10 days before it shows back up on your card, BUT if you have a monthly date book like me now, I DONT HAVE to remember all these things.I use to think I needed to remember, so I write things down and refer to MY DATE BOOK and WAHLAH check my online bank FEDEX $$$ BACK IN ON THIS DATE! Score.
Another thing, I never checked my local supermarket reciept EVER.
The other day they had 2/7.00 dollars , Beautiful Holiday candles. They were huge white and red smelled great. When they scanned they rang up for 5.99 each. I waited because at the end I gave my card and thought they would credit me, or give the clippless coupons etc.. NO!*&^%$#! BTW like I said earlier, I never, ever, speak up but I knew what I saw and this wasnt fair. To the front end supervisor I said well the price is right down there near the holiday stuff go send someone and look! She did a kid and he said she is right! Than she said "store policy is if we ring it up wrong its yours!" $20.00 off my order WOW!YEAH!
Last thing where I am standing up for myself! which I think is of a HEALTHY MIND. I borrowed the packing tape from POST OFFICE GUY because I was putting together 2 boxes Priority shipping. I have a hard time I look like I am in preschool doing this bending these boxes, Tape gun loaded right in front of me to look at me YOU WOULD KNOW I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS BIG FIASCO RIGHT! This woman comes up to me as SWEAT is coming down my face and says is THAT THE POST OFFICE TAPE??" I SAID YES""WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME THAT QUESTION?" WELL I NEED SOME TAPE" WELL I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF USING IT AND CREATING THESE BOXES!!
I ripped her off like 5 inches and contuined on my boxes event and I thought to myself HOW VERY SELFISH OF HER.NORMALLY I would have stopped handed it to her out of manners etc but I was in the middle and I am just sick and tierd of THE BS. The lady breathed heavy and walked past me! DO YOU STICK UP FOR YOU? TELL ME HOW! xox S

I had a comment which didn't show up so now I will tell you a short version: Funny you mentioned a post office story and pricing checking. Two similar stories happened to me Saturday. I was in a great mood. I was on a mission to mail a package that's been sitting here, then I was going to find and end table and a lamp. I get to the post office at 9:45 and the window is closed! I know on weekdays it opens at 9:30 (which is way to late for a community our size, ridiculous) I assumed on Sat's it was the same. So I run errands come back at 9:58. A lady walks in and comments, "Boy, they sure don't open a minute too soon do they?" I reply in a chuckle, "no they don't". She took a mailing box from the self serve that had a price tag on it of $10.95! I was shocked. This never happens in my town. So, I'm still standing there waiting patiently for the window to open and thought I would mention that their tardiness lost them a $10.95 mailing box. It's 10:07 and I'm getting really red. She finally opens the window and I'm very snippy with her. She didn't apologize for opening late which would have made a difference in how I responded to her. Then when I was second hand shopping for my end table and lamp, I noticed a sale of adult clothing 50 c. I took my wares to the counter and she was going to charge full price for the shirt. I kindly reminded her that it was on sale. Yes, we need to pay attention to everything and speak up. Some clerks aren't always knowledgeable when the store has a sale. Sad but true. Always check your reciepts.
I never stick up for myself, I try to avoid conflict at all cost.
I am not sure if it is because I am 45 now or I have just got to the point of being sick and tierd of taking peoples S*&^% I am starting to stick up for me and the more you do it the better it makes you feel and the more powerful as a woman I get!
