Let me first say because .............It is after all THE DRS TV WEBSITE , what I have accomplished over this past year HEALTH WISE. Going into year now NUMBER 2. and now Yearly follow ups.
1. Before I came here I had several vitam deficency B12, and D and so on
2. I was anemic and although following a strict resigme RX Iron pills 3 x aday I was headed for shots of iron at the hospital and It was going to hurt and stain my skin and possibly close up my throat.
3. For years I put off OB/Gyn Mammos and internals out of fears and worries about Family history and my Momma having cancer so if I didnt check than I wouldnt have anything wrong so all would be well right? Wrong thinking !
4. Now I am taking prenatal vitamens, I am on track with all vitamen levels, I am no longer anemic and that one my doctor is really shocked and shaking his head, I say THANK YOU ALSO TO REIKI and self healing sessions along with my DRs Orders!
5. I had internals, having again this year, and I am going for year number two for Mammos. Taking care of your health my health takes alot of what ifs out of my mind.
6. Getting my EYES exam and hearing weird news. I have CATARACTS! WHAT? How weird is this at age 45?
Now there is a whole lot Im not talking about either, Like in my mental health and my inside stress levels etc. I started thinking when did I ever first feel Axiexty? SORRY about my spelling issues gang!
It was like when I was 6 or 7 and My Mom took me to the doctors.
All I can remember way back then is this Dr Looking at me with a ciggerrette hanging out of his mouth and a white light in my eyes and saying nothing was wrong with me.
Well late 60's early 70's times were sure different huh? There was alot happening at our home and I was reacting to it BUT I DIDNT have the words to speak or say that at the time..
Did you ever have a Dr blow smoke in your face? Weird how memories come back when your trying to put stuff together!

i have to say i remember when i had my oldest daughter 25 yrs ago you could smoke in the hospital rooms, i only remeber this because i was a smoker back then oh my!!! i can't believe today that i would have done that at all let alone in a hospital room. wow did you ever bring back some memories.

What an awesome internet community! It's totally great that we have this to help us through some very trying times. We ask questions, we communicate life stories health related or not. We feel comfortable sharing and opening up to each other and ourselves. It's great that we have this to help us see what we already know but choose to put off. What an eye opening site (and Dr. Phils) and a very cleansing one. We're not just "connecting" we're "cleansing". Thanks Sue, nice blog. Diana
I think it is great that you are not just putting yourself first, but you are also putting yourself in charge of your health -- and being in charge often means learning to listen to other people. It's not easy! Congratulations!
