Jeff Mulvin
Jeff started his Martial Arts career in 1973 studying Tae Kwon Do & Aikido. Joined the Urquidez Brothers Gym in 1979. There he studied, Hawaiian Kenpo,Shotokan,Judo, Aikido,Ju-Jitsu,Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and White Krane Kung-Fu.
He Fought Internationally as an Amatuer/Professional Kickboxer 1980-1987. In 1980, beat the National Thai Champion in his first fight. In 1981 Joined the AAU National Kickboxing Team,Winning 5 weight Division California State Championships, Gold and Silver Medals in international competition, and fought top 10 contenders in the Professional Ranks. In 1987 became the #1 British Commonwealth Welterweight Kickboxing Contender. He also fought in exibition matches against World Class Fighters until 2003 at the age of 43.
He has been a licensed Amatuer Boxing Coach with the United States Amatuer Boxing Federation and the California State Athletic Commission as a Professional Boxing / Kickboxing Coach for 25 years.
From 1984-1990 He was the Asst.Coach/Amatuer & Professional Boxing, from 1990-1994 Head Professional Coach/General Manager of The World Famous "Jet Center". He is one of the world’s winningest kickboxing coaches, with a 25-0 record in World Championship Fights, and an unprecidented 44-2 overall record in World Championship Title fights and defenses.
From 1996-2007-Floor Mgr./Chief Instructor-Jet’s Gym. Started his Stunt/Acting career in 1980. From 1990-1994/ member of Benny “The Jet’s” Jetaway Stunt Team.
He is currently one of the highest ranking Instructors /Students in the world, in The Ukidokan Martial Art's System as a Level 7 Kickboxing Black Belt & a Level 1 Black Belt in Ukidokan Karate.
He is a Kickboxing/Boxing Instructor & Chair Member of the Ukidokan Martial Art’s Association. An Instructor/Senior Member of Benny “The Jet’s” Academy of Stunt Actors School.
He works in Fim & Television as a Martial Art’s / Boxing Fight Trainer, Technical Advisor. From 1990-1996 he worked as an Asst.Fight/Stunt Coordinator. From 1999-current he now works as a Fight/Stunt Coordinator.
He also works as a Liscensed Professional Bodyguard for various Stars of Hollywood, the NBA, NFL, MLB, and toured the world as a Security Director for a World Famous Rock & Roll Band.
He is now currently working as an Actor, Stuntman, and Fight/Stunt Coordinator, and has just completed work as an Actor on the CBS T.V. show "The Doctors",an episode on Spike T.V.'s 1,000 Way's to Die, and as Stunt Coordinator on the soon to released film,
"Confession" with the Star of The Daytime Soap Opera General Hospital's "Maurice Benard", and has just wrapped up production on the Boxing Short Film "The Haymaker",working as the Cast Fight Trainer & Co-Fight Coordinater.
