I am an " almost" 60 year old woman who loves life and considers traveling my hobby. I have wonderful and sincere friends and try to be the same way. Having lived in 4 cities, my friends are all over the map. I have been married to a wonderful man for over 38 years and have a son and daughter-in-law and a grandkitty! I am addicted to handbags and shoes. I live in the desert foothills and never tire of the view - especially sunsets. 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis after suffering with a cough for 15 months. I am in Stage 4 with permanent damage to my lungs. The sarcoid is in my lungs, liver, spleen, joints, bones and spinal cord. Along with several other drugs, I take chemotherapy pills everyday. My favorite tee shirt reads "I'm not lazy, I'm on chemotherapy. What's your excuse?" Some days are good and somedays are bad. Many nights (like tonight) I have trouble sleeping and spend hours on the computer - sometimes researching the disease and sometime looking at new handbags! At times, I feel desperate that someone would find a cure for this insidious disease. Becoming a part of this gives me new hope that you would devote a show to the disease and help all of us reach out to others suffering and trying to find something/anything that would help us.
