I have had Fibromylgia for many years and I take Neutrontin for it. Sometimes when the weather is bad or I am stressed out I will have flare ups. My Nurologist (didn't see him for fibro) increased  my med some to help manage it more. I don't called him about it, I have taken Ibuprophin that helps with inflamation some. I understand how you feel. I know this probably isn't much help, but just wanted to say you are not alone and there may be other things that would help too.
