I am a 51 yr old divorced women with Multiple Sclerosis since 1985. I went from walking to a cane to a walker to a wheelchair in a matter of Five years. This was ultimately labled, Chonic progressive. At the time of my diagnosis, I was working as a Psychiatric Nurse (L.P.N). For yaers I followed the Neurologists medical regime, but saw no improvement. While researching Medical Trial on M<S> I saw results that impressed me. I told the Doctor I wanted it; he said it could kill me; I signed my  life away and submitted my self. Today I am walking. It took alot of work relearning, and now I am glad. I may not beable to hold a traditional job, but have recently begun selling Avon. Much at this point is door to door, but hope to do Fundraising events in the near future.

The major psychologial stress now in my life is my turkey neck. I don't know where it came from or how to get rid of it. I know I wear too many turtlenecks anymore. It also makes me look so much older and that's not good being single.
