I went for a colonoscopy appointment yesterday and I told the nurse that i'm on my period still and she told me that that's no problem. when the nurse put a sedation, she ask me are you getting sleepy? so i said yes and then i fell asleep. I don't remember anything. when i woke up, i was in the recover room. the bad news is I might have to do the colonoscopy again because I had the radiology appointment on tuesday and i have to drink white material so that i can take the x-ray. it cause the colon to be white and my doctor was unable to see the whole colon. if i do have to do it again, oh well i just do it again then. I'm upset that nobody tell me that early. I don't have a problem doing it again it's just that i have to drink those nasty stuff again that makes me to throw up.

I'm sorry that you may have to have another colonscopy. When you drink the nasty stuff, drink it COLD never at room temperture. That nasty stuff made me throw up. I was told my 2 other co-workers that there is a favor solution to drinks. Ask your Doctor for the Favor Solution, I dont know if the solution is already favor or if the favor comes with the solution. I hope this help

Sorry to hear you might have to do the procedure again. Just look at it on the positive side, that at least you'll see if you have any issues and if so you can get them taken care of. I don't think anyone likes having tests done, but if it wasn't for them many people would have much more serious problems. Best of luck and take care :-)
