I am a 46-year-old mother of two adult children.  I am a successful professional in the hi-tech industry.  I have spent the past 27 years of my life taking care of my children and pets everyday...always putting myself last. My children graduated from college and moved on to their own independent lives a few years ago and I just recently lost my last pet.  I find myself overweight, not overly healthy and in unchartered territory -- I have no one telling what I have to do (was young when I left home and got married and decided to start a family) and am now not responsible for anyone but myself on a daily basis.  I'm excited about the next phase of my life, but I want to improve my health and the way I look to make a bang as I move into this exciting time of life!
