Cosmetic Surgery/Nerve damage

On 10/8/2010 I had a mid face lift and a neck lift.  At 3 weeks everything looked good.  The next week I noticed a wrinkle by my bottom right lip and it appeared that the skin was droopy there.  I suspect I have some nerve damage there. When I smile my lips go way out on that side.  My questions are: 1) Can I expect this to heal in time and 2) Is it ok to get a filler or Botox in that area or will it cause more damage?  3) Is it normal for this to show up 3 weeks after surgery?  Please help!!

I hear once you have any plastic surg it takes months before all swelling goes down and it will all be healed and the best takes up to one year to see all the great work!~

I wouldnt worry...Just watch and enjoy the new you!

Thank you, labelfree for your comment.  I'm not worried about any swelling or bruising. I've had lots of cosmetic surgery in the past.  This is diffferent because of the nerve damage.  I've heard that it can be permanent, so i wondered if others out there have had this experience and what the final outcome was.
