My name is Jeff Seder and I live in Mesa, Arizona. I am studying to become a Naturopathic physician. I absolutly love it. In Arizona I will be able to practice as a primary care physician. I will be able to do all a regular MD can do, plus much more complementary aspects in treatment for clients. I choose to be a naturopathic physician because I got very ill from an acne medication in my late teens and then in my mid-twenties I had a full blown heart attack which I also attribute mainly to accutane mistreatment in my teens. I also got ill from heart meds for several years thereafter until I found the right medication. I was also on medication perscribed by a psychiatrist (ie. depression). I was able to get off this medication which really didn't work and made me sluggish and overweight. Natural therapies are really the only things that helped me. All regular M.D.'s are trained to do to help in the healing process is prescribe pharmaceuticals and surgery. Some med schools and M.D.' are learning complimentary medicine which is great. Naturopaths are bringing complementary medicine and health to the public awareness and it is the future of all medicine. I appreciate how the Doctors show speaks about complimentary medicine and a variety of health and medical issues.
