I am a 53 year old female. I am a nurse working with the developmentally disabled. I find it to be a very rewarding career. Unfortunately, right now I am out on workers comp., due to a fall at work, injuring my back and sciatic nerve. I hope to get back to work soon because I really miss it.

My sense of style is simple-no "bling" as my 14 year old neice keeps reminding me! I am 5'7" tall, but I won't share my weight! I am not obese, but I could stand to lose a few pounds.

There are alot of things I love about life. I love my family and friends. I have 4 nephews and one neice, and I adore them all! I love music, almost all types with the exception of RAP. I also love the spring & summer. I have a pool, and in the summer I love just floating around and listening to music. I love the feel of the sun, it relaxes me and I'm ashamed to say, I like getting tan. I'm not fond of the winter and even less fond of the snow. The first snowfall of the year is always pretty, but after that, I've had my fill!

I have one very close friend. We've known each other over 20 years. The last gift I bought for her was actually a gift for her and her beloved four legged friend, a yellow lab. I must asay I love her dog, almost as much as she does!

I love animals, but living in an apartment limits the kiind of pets you can have. At risk for sounding like a "cat lady", I do have 3 cats. They are easy to care for and are a comfort at times. I do love them.
