Thank you for your input on my daughter's panic attacks. I know her husband is a lot of the problem because he tries to isolate her from her family. I hate to admit that her dad and I are also part of the problem. We have been divorced for 33 years but he still tries to keep us apart. I don't try to discourage her from seeing him, in fact, have had him as a guest in my home several times so she could see him. I let her talk and try not to be too harsh on her husband because that just makes her defend him. Getting her to a counselor or psychiatrist is a major hurdle that I don't think I will be able to get her over. But, I have a terrible lack of tactfully saying things so I try to keep my mouth shut. It just hurts me so to see her suffer and be unable to do anything for her. Well enough about that. Thanks again for sharing your experience and input. I have passed it on to her.

I am assuming that your second chance is one of a life away from an unpleasant marriage. My daughter is also 46, has one son and lives in Atlanta. It is hard not to interfere because she doesn't want to listen to me and I feel I make it worse. I have great hopes she will read the blog and the responses and find a solution that helps her.
