Day six: Ate dinner with dear friends, still grieving after a death in their family. Ordered seafood with sauteed spinach and two glasses of Riesling (worth it!). Skipping lunch in anticipation of dinner, I enjoyed every moment of our circle of love. I wanted this healing time together; to compound our loss, they will be moving to Kansas from New Jersey at the end of the month. They have been a creative part of my life for twenty-five years and their presence will be sorely missed.
