I am a mother of three young children. I am also a two time survivor of PP OCD now dedicated to helping others through compassion find and access the care they need and deserve. I volunteer with PSI, moderate the iVillage PPD message board, write a blog (www.unexpectedblessing.wordpress.com) and am also working on a statewide initiative here in Georgia to create a postpartum support network for the women here. I now find a great deal of strength in my experience as opposed to being drained by having to repeat my story. I have been to that very dark place and I have survived.
