Top of the day to ya!

I am 58 years old, with a true joie de vivre.  i started my bucket list a few years ago and have accomplished many, including traveling abroad, taking up golf, watercolor, playing texas hold em at the World Series of Poker sitting down to play poker with people from all over the world.  People have often said that I would have made a great stand-up comedian. 

I have always been a fashionista, although as I get older, i'm not quite sure how to dress anymore.  The fashion do's and dont's of fashion over 50 drives me up the bloody wall.  I need a laser resurfacing due to many years of sun, drinking, smoking.  i no longer drink or smoke and would love to treat myself to an aggressive procedure to my face and chest.  I would love my outside to match my inside.  I have had prior liposuction and a botched tummy tuck.

My background is working at the high school level with special education kids, with disabilities ranging from spina bifada to autism to stuttering to abuse. 

Every time I work, they make my day.  They can laugh and be themselves, and I can laugh and be myself.  They don't realize what a serious trip life is and totally bring out my inner child and sense of fun.

I have two grown daughters, one is 25 and getting married in three weeks to a marine.  My other daughter is a recent college graduate trying to decide what to do with her life.

I have been very busy lately going back and forth to Minnesota to care for my 82 year old mother who has so far survived stage 3 ovarian cancer... i breeze into town to motivate her and make her laugh.  I never knew what a strong person I actually am and can be until my mom got sick.

I really try to have as many belly laughs a day as I can...the last gift I purchased was maple nut fudge for my husband.  He had to hide it from me... I'm sure you can guess why.

I love the Doctors and try to catch it every day, even giving up Oprah.  I also love Dr. Phil.  Keep up all the fascinating topics.  I learn someting new every day!
