My husband and I recently moved to his hometown of Victoria, TX after spending 22 years in the Army.  He is happily retired from the Army, I miss the travel sometimes and miss making different friends. I have a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Washington.  I currently do not work, I haven't worked in 16 years, I am a housewife. We have one child who is 20 years old, it is my husbands from a previous marriage. Brittany lives in Florida and hopefully will soon be enrolling in college. My husband and I were never able to have our own children. We have two very loveable dachshunds, one long-haired black and tan and one smooth haired wild boar.  They are like our children. We lost our third one a few months ago, Lewie. He was "a love of my life" he followed me every and anywhere. I couldn't go no where without him. I miss him dearly. I am from New York. I enjoy reading, sewing, crafting, scrapbooking. I would love to learn how to quilt and knit.
