About Me

I am a 52 year old female. I am diabetic, osteo arthiritis, as wellas dengenerative joint disease. I am over weight and have been for 35 years. In the last year I have finally been tested for thyroid problems. I am only 5ft 4 inches tall so being over weight looks even worse. I have been on every diet coming and going with no results. I have found that if I just dont eat at all I can drop a few pounds, but thats not healthy.

PS: Eat 6 mini meals a day! Never starve yourself!

I was 5 ft tall and now 4'11', I guess you could say the fat fairies are playing a nasty on me. I drop a few pounds and shrink an inch! Actually I have spinal stenosis, and 3 knee surgeries, so my hiking which I loved and walking 5 miles twice a day has switched me to the elliptical. Let me say that I didn't believe loosing weight would help me - because you see fat and skinny with these issues. But after going to 115-116 from 148 I am here to say BIG difference. You can do this.  Just resolve to change your life.  Do not detour. After a while it becomes second nature. Today my post was about my weight fluctuation, & refusing to give in!  Just Do It and see for yourself!
