I am 55 yrs. old and have spent the past year retraining in the healthcare industry. I am a CPCT (certfied patient care technician by the American Phlebotomy Assoc.) and a CNA on the GA Nurse Aide Registry (#CN0028896746). I am currently (1/18/10) looking for a position. I am quite interested in mental healthcare and will seek to be trained more in this area.

I consider myself a conservative liberal and am a perpetual optimist. I love the hopeful, uplifting aspect of the human spirit.

I gave up my car a number of years ago for three reasons. One, to help my roomate who suffered from social anxiety disorder to desensitize from his fear of unfamiliar people ( he now shows no symptoms); secondlly, to do the little I can to help the environment in a city that has a wonderful transit system; and thirdly, because I love being around people and engaging in conversation when presented.
