I love the shows CSI & CSI NY, Law & Order SVU, Burn Notice, Monk, and of course The Doctors that I recently found out about this year... Now it has become one of my daily necessities to watch - I learn so much!  I'm passionate about psychology efforts to help victims of crime or childhood abuse, as well as the effects of trauma including PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety disorders, and dissociative disorders.  Having PTSD and a dissociative disorder myself, it isn't easy to overcome, but I try on a daily basis to keep my spirits up the best I can. 

I enjoy doing arts and crafts - especially altered board books or creating cards of my own.

Movies like The Bourne Trilogy series, Harry Potter, really are my faves. 

I love finding art in different things.  For instance, I'm not used to cold weather that is below ten degrees, but I do enjoy watching the snow fall and seeing the changing seasons each year.  I enjoy seeing the fashion and styles change every year as well.  And music captivates my soul and creates an atmosphere around me that either helps me walk while I listen to my MP3 or helps me do chores around the house or be a background that motivates art or other stimuli that helps give me energy.

I was in the United States Marine Corps for a very short time before getting honorably discharged due to a pelvic stress fracture.  I learned a lot of skills while in the Marines as well as previously graduating from the Police Reserve Academy.  I am passionate about Law Enforcement and Administration of Justice, but never furthered my career in those fields since, well, I'm only 5'2" and really cannot beat up a fly (those buggers are hard to catch anyways - LOL).  Still, the experience has made me a better person.

Math used to be my strongest subject... but now I've been out of study for over a decade, I'm not sure it's my strongest subject anymore.

Presently disabled, I'm seeking to rehabilitate myself by holistic and healthy means that I can do by applying what I've learned to my own life at a pace and financial means I can afford.
