I am considering trying to find a dentist in Mexico or Costa Rica for some direly needed cosmetic dentistry done. I read where they will install veneers for only $125 per tooth. Can anyone inform me about the pro's and con's of opting for out of country dentistry?

I have heard people say that they have had excellent work done over the border, but I think it's risky. It's way too far for me to travel, and what if I have a complication that needs further attention. Then again, I can't say I've been really happy with the dentists I've had here. If you decide to do it, let us know how it works out!
Do you speak spanish?
I would check VERY CAREFULLY about getting these services outside the country. MAYBE A TRUE DENIST ISNT EVEN WORKING ON YOUR TEETH!
Even I heard some "plastic surgerys in these countries are done in DIRTY STRIP MALL Situations.
I would personally OPT to pay the extra money per tooth and know I am being worked on in a CLEAN, SAFE, PROTECTED ENVIRONMENT IN MY OWN COUNTRY.
THIS IS J M O.

Hello,
I am from Tucson Arizona, I know many people that recieve dental treatment in mexico. From what I hear, the cost is very low, and the clinics my friends and family have been to have been very clean, and the quality of work is just fine. I have not heard anything bad. I would really consider this as a option if I were to " god forbid" lose my dental insurance. Best of luck to you!!!
