About Me
I would describe myself as uniquely dynamic, ambitious, determined, optimistic, and sharing. My apparent disposition is perpetually changing and adapting to new environments and situations that are introduced to me. However, my core values remain constant. I can discuss the economy of the post civil war south with a scholar while arguing with a friend via texts about whether or not Ty Cobb could've hit Nolan Ryan consistantly, all the while wishing that I was being productive. I always feel like I have to be doing something to better myself (it's a curse). When all I want out of life is to be happy and enjoy what I do. For me though, being happy is going to consist of owning a cozy home, finding my soulmate, making the world a better place by my being in it, and being financially sound enough to travel to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, China to see the Great Wall, Egypt for the Pyramids, and Go on an African Safari. It'll happen one day or I'll die trying to make it. I'll never give up. I've lost an academic scholarship courtesy a car wreck. I've worked two jobs while paying tuition for Golf Course Management School and had to drop out of my final semester twice due to transportation problems. I'll spare you the rest of the "poor me" details. Before I regained the hunger for an education, I excelled in various business ventures while in Myrtle Beach and was on the verdge of tasting success, when on Christmas Eve 2007 I was kidnapped at gunpoint, driven to my house, and robbed of the 4 computers I ran my business with, $9,800 I planned to put down on a house in a week, and everything else I owned other than my furniture, clothing, and my dog. However, everything happens for a reason and I am now back with my family, soon to finally earn a college degree, and open a new chapter in my life. Life can be unreasonably difficult. It may take time, but if you keep picking yourself back up, never quit trying or hoping, and have faith in the Lord. You will eventually make it. Every day is the first day of the rest of your life and it's better late than never. It's been said that the world belongs to the enthusiast who keeps his cool. As far as being generous, I may be more of an idiot than generous. I let someone keep a framed panoramic photo of William's Brice Stadium becuase they thought I had given it to them and I didn't have the heart to break theirs. It's not cool to "brag" about doing kind things for people so I won't, but just yesterday I was supposed to go get dog food and also came back with a fleece to give my stepfather. I have a problem. It's not a good trait. My style mirrors my personality. I wear whatever the occasion calls for and try to stand out from the crowd at the same time. For example, I have a black sportcoat with a red cross stitched on the back that I wear to church. As far as what I love about life is learning from my mistakes and realizing what's most important is what we take for granted. Sight, smell, taste, love, music, friendship, learning, and endorphins. TH-TH-TH-THATS ALL FOLKS!
