My dad also has c.o.p.d. and liver cancer. He can't do much but we love him and visit him and take care of him. Keep your chin up. My dad was diagnosed with liver cancer 6 years ago and is still around. It is good you have hobbies that keep you busy. My dad can't leave the house. I love to play cards too.
