I missed yesterday’s show and my mom was telling me about a product they said was the best over the counter product to use for blackheads. All she could remember was that it was a Neutrogena product.

Does anyone remember what that was?

I know one of them was Blackhead eliminating daily scrub. I wrote it down but I lost the paper. I’m still looking for the other one.

i have both blackheads and whiteheads that people don’t seem to think are a problem because they arent inflamed but they drive me crazy because you cant pop them or seem to get rid of them especially if youve used moisturiser it seems to make them worse…please give some idea of what can be used….

The product must contain salicylic acid /(BHA) beta hydroxy acid. The one I use is “Clean and Clear moisture is a light "Clean and Clear” moisturizer with 0.5% salicylic acid/BHA. If I lived in America I’d use “Paula Begoune’s” 1 and 2% BHA. Be sure to read your ingredient lists they begin with the most to the least. So your first ingredient is the most etc.

Watch out for ingredients such as alcohol, peppermint, camphor,eucalyptus etc.all can irritate the skin and the term “oil-free” is a meaningless marketing claim. Palmitates, myriststes triglycerides plant oils, shea butter and vit.E can all clog pores.

Clean your skin gently and remove dead skin cells with salicylic acid. Later on try the AHA’s . Read up and the best of luck.
