I’ve heard that some people are choosing to visit chinese medicine experts instead of hospital based doctors because your show endorses them.

Since the doctors on your show aren’t critical of chinese medicine, why isn’t chinese med taught in med schools international? The same way as adminstering of flu vacines, and using a stethoscope, and a otoscope is taught internationally.

And is it correct for people to get advice from a chinese med expert instead of a general doctor in a hospital?  Is it possible that the chinese med doctor have better advice than general doctors some times, since they have some knowledge that the general doctors don’t.

e.g.

http://www.thedoctorstv.com/main/show_synopsis/128

Chinese medicine purports that
cupping moves “stagnant blood,” or stuck chi, or energy, as well as
detoxifies the blood. “It’s been around for thousands of years,” Dr.
Yang notes. “It’s really a tried and true therapy.”

The audience could do with some clarity from your show on their opinions on TCM.  Is it sound medine, and should be trusted as much as general doctors advice?, or not?

Appreciated.
