Do people think this is absolutely critical? Becasue I like to have my 2nd fruit at night with yogurt as a desert. Also, for times when I have to add carbs like brown rice and potatoes on cycle 2, its not feasible to have those at lunch at work. I would want them at dinner, but that would be after 2pm. I’m wondering about how big a deal do you think the no carbs after 2pm is? It just doesn’t seem feasible to me or something I would want to stick to, as I like to have my carb side at dinner. Lunches usually soups or salads, much easier to bring those for lunch.

IMO I dont think it is a big deal either.  My take is if I am going to feel like “cheating” later on in the day after 2 PM, i’d rather have a piece of fruit than ie, chocolate. I did this and it really didn’t have an effect (but that was with me).
