On the November 2nd show the doctors mentioned a use for crisco or shortening. I believe it was for wrinkles or something like that. The doctor mentioned that if you use this you wont have to come to him. I have spent days searching the website and the resources listed and I do not find this information. Do you know what the use of crisco or shortening was for?

Thank you!!!

Ms. VACCARIELLO: Vegetable shortening is great hand cream. You put a little moisture on the hand, and what it does is it seals in the moisture. A little dab will do you, and prevents the elements and anything, you know, harsh winter wind from getting at the skin, and it seals in the moisture.

SEARS: This is great. I actually recommend this for my patients with eczema
that need to moisturize their entire body, because it’s so cheap to use.

Ms. VACCARIELLO: And it feels just like hand lotion.

ORDON: Actually, it’s such good stuff. I actually use this on resurfacing patients, either laser or chemical peel patients. We actually have them put it on because it’s such a great moisturizer.
