I am a 57 year old former postal clerk. I was injured on the job in 1986. I  have degenerative disc disease and my neck is wired together with a plate to keep it stable. It was fractured in 1997. I have alot of chronic pain in my back and neck. The road to learning to live with being disabled and the chronic pain has been a rocky one and I  realize it's a journey that won't end until I am gone. I love to read, just about any genre. I write poetry and write short articles for web-sites, many of them health related. I have two grown children, four grandchildren. I am very blessed to have a man who loves me as much as I love him. I have two dogs, Ziggy and Scrappy. They can NEVER get enough petting!  

I love to spend time with My Tom, whether it's kicking back watching tv, looking for treaure at thrift stores or taking a drive in the mountains. I cannot believe my oldest grandchild turned 20 this month. Seems she was born just yesterday. My grandson is 17 and my other two granddaughter's are 12 and 7. I'm proud of them!

I like to watch The Doctors, Two and a Half Men and Sex and the City re-runs. My favorite movies are comedies, because I love to laugh. I have a rather sarcastic sense of humor and don't mind laughing at myself. I believe in honesty and integrity. My pet peeves are ill-mannered people and those who put on airs. LIVE, LOVE AND LAUGH!.
