I am the mother of 3 wonderful adult children, one of whem has had Type 1 Diabetes since February 1976. Our darling daughter is now 38 and has had a pump for several years. I learned how to take care of her diabetes before the days of blood testing and pumps, so it was a real learning experience for a non-nurse-ME!
