Good morning everyone:

I have written the producers regarding doing a regional show.  By this I mean doing a show on different areas of the United States and the potential illnesses, hazards, skin conditions etc. that occur in a particular part of our country that people traveling from other parts of the U.S. may not have any knowledge about.

An example of this is Lyme's Disease.  I wrote a blog on this on 4/21/09 explaining the devastation that disease has caused me, including uprooting from the east coast to Nevada to have some quality of life.  I was extremely surprised that a great number of people here in the west were totally unfamiliar with the disease and how easily you can be infected if traveling in the northeast.  As citizens, many of us vacation, visit or move to areas outside of our comfort zone and I think we can all learn so much by studying illnesses and pitfalls in other parts of the country. 

Let me know what you all think of this idea.  If there is enough interest, maybe the producers will do a show on this subject.  Thanks.
