REGIONAL SHOW
Good morning everyone: I have written the producers regarding doing a regional show. By this I mean doing a show on different areas of the United States and the potential illnesses, hazards, skin conditions etc. that occur in a particular part of our country that people traveling from other parts of the U.S. may not have any knowledge about. An example of this is Lyme's Disease. I wrote a blog on this on 4/21/09 explaining the devastation...

Lyme's Disease
The information the docs gave toay on Lyme's Disease was good, but far from complete. I am now post 15 plus years with Lyme's Disease. It went 5 plus years misdiagnosed by the NJ and NY doctors. I never saw the bulls-eye rash even though I was well informed regarding the disease and its' symptoms. The Internists and Rheumatologists diagnosed me with Lupus, Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Giant Cell Arteritis and other illnesses. The Lyme titer...

Hey Dianne
I live in KY and I also have chronic pain, migraines, COPD. I pray that there is something that can be done for you and me. I have suffered from severe depression in the past. I thank God that I have a husband that is very supportive of me and helping me through the lifestyle changes that we have made over the years be cause of my health. I don't think that I could make it alone in this.
hello dvreeland, when i read your story on lymes i so wanted to talk to you. i have had this for forty years and almost died from it, most people don't respond back about this disease maybe cause they don't think they could have it or can't imagine that it can be that bad. well i certainly know how bad it is and so do you. on my blog i was looking for some one with lyme but got no response, whattya think? want to talk about it? let me know Margie in N.V.
I am a 56 year old female who became permanently disabled at 47. I contracted Lyme's Disease in NJ which was misdiagnosed for approx. 5 yrs. It was in my central nervous system and 5 parts of my brain. Connections were broken i.e. brain to hands, mouth, legs, heart (bradiacardia)& seizures, 30 hospitalizations, including 2 stays at Kessler Inst. for rehabiliitation. My world was turned completely upside down. I now, per doctors orders, live in Henderson, NV since 2002 for a dryer climate. It took me 3 years to drive and 4 to read. I suffer with depression, severe fibromyalgia, chronic pain, seizure disorder, joint pain and muscle spasm.
I consider myself extremely lucky to be functional and live each day to the fullest. I am active in my church and am part of an outreach program to children 12-18 years old who are in a Juvenile Detention Center. I hardly make plans as I never know how I will feel any certain day, but when I am feeling good, I try to do something to help someone else. I never want to get self-absorbed with my illnesses. We all have too little time on this earth to make a difference.
I have a wonderful husband, 4 sons and I now have 4 granddaughters. I enjoy children so much and have always worked on their behalf my entire life. I never had a bad kid in my house!
I guess that's enough info for now. I wish you all good health, happiness, prosperity and love!
