I am lately retired.

I am a colostomate since my operation for colorectal cancer in 1999. With irrigation every other day, I do not need to wear a bag and continue to do all that I did before. (I returned to work and continued with this until now. I continue with my hill-walking group, bikes and motorbikes, holiday in Spain and play golf, tennis, tabletennis and bridge).

I love to read, mostly non-fiction, and to experiment with gadgets.

My present health concerns are weight-loss and GERD.
