If anyone is reading this comment, i hope it helps someone. I've have had halitosis all of my life and have found no help from products, doctors, dentists, hygenists, otolaryngologists, etc... The only thing that's relieving the halitosis is being a vegetarian. I've now been on a vegetarian diet for about 4 months. It took about 3 months before I noticed it becoming better. I'm not a vegan(?), because I still eat eggs and broths. Who knows, maybe becoming a vegan would completely eliminate halitosis. I'm just not there yet, but I may be soon:) I'm HAPPY with the results, but I still think I have a little ways to go. I hope this helps....I really know how humiliating this is and the social horror it causes..GOD BLESS YOU!

Duesy how r u?any updates? i'm gonna look into getting my wisdom teeth out. i think i may have an infection in my bottom ones that are causing this odor. i've been focusing more on my tonsils but the other day my one wisdom tooth was bothering me so i was playing with my back gums where the come out with my tongue and started really tasting that aweful smell/taste in my mouth. so i flossed my teeth(and this is gross) and smelled my floss and it had no smell from my front teeth UNTIL i decided to floss behind my last tooth(inbetween my last molar and where my wisdom should be) which i never do bc my wisdom teeth have not came thro yet so i didnt really see the point. but i flossed behind my last molar and into my gums and let me tell u the smell was so awful! and i did it on the top where my wisdom teeth are and no smell. its mainly on the bottom right. the smell is so strong and i mean SO strong, i'm almost convinced this is where my problem lies. and the more i floss behind that last tooth into my gum line the more i can taste that horrible smell coming out. i'm calling tomorrow to make an appointment. i forget, did u have ur wisdom teeth removed?

Hey, Carrie0143. I didn't see the dr's. the other day, but Yes, I've done the tea thing for my feet. I've also done kosher salt & lemons, herbs, white distilled vinegar, alcohol, lavendar, and poroxide. It's like trying to find relief and getting no where fast same as w/breath. You can't get ahead when u smell in a workplace, even if a little. People think it's your fault somehow. What a hard pill to swallow, they just don't know all the things I know I've tried and still I'm trying things. I pop my pills about 4 or 6 a day to help stop the sweating, but my feet still smells. I didn't put deodorant on the other day and heard some gossip. It seems sometimes that my spirit is dying a little each time I hear a harsh comment about my odor so that I can just make it thru w/o feelings. I don't know if u know what I mean. But it's like I'm drying up. Anyway, I've finished my detox pills and powder, now I'm taking adult probiotic acidophillus for past 3 days. I also take zinc, selenium, magnesium religiously because they say that helps with odors and regulating the body. I went back to Sonrisa for a teeth cleaning again. They sent the last gum, tissue and teeth cleaning in as a surgical procedure and now they're sending this in as a teeth cleaning so that my insurance will pay for it. It helps! She told me if u drink coffee, smoke, or drink teas (which I do the tea thing) that u need to brush soon after because the bacteria loves those sort of things. And that u get more plaque in which the bacteria gets to live in. She also said to put toothpaste on my floss and to make I'll go back in 6 mnths, but I wish I can go every 3 mnths.

hey duesy i watched the doctors today. did u? i thought i saw the episode before but i dont think it was a rerun. they suggested soaking your feet in black tea. to boil it then add cool water. they said the recipe is on the sight somewhere. have u ever tried that? they just suggested scraping the tongue for bad breath. just wondering if u caught todays show

Carrie0143

i know what u mean when u go home one your lunch hour. somedays its like i have to! it doesnt really help but it does a little so its worth it somedays when its pretty bad. but yea i do that too! go all the way just to brush my teeth! what a sad little life.

Carrie0143

Yea i'm def. thinkin thats what it is too. I dont know what else it would be. And because of the fact that i'm pretty young and am in perfect health i cant see it steming from something else. And like you said we have to find a way to fight off the bad bacteria. or most of it anyway. i'm sure theres something out there that if we drank or ate or whatever it would fight it off, we just havent figured it out yet. And ecspecially for me since i didnt start getting this til i was about 15, i feel since it wasn't always there, there has to be a way to reverse it. but what is causing this overload of bacteria to take place? Maybe something isnt workin right. i dunno...

You know Carrie0143, I've been thinking that for a long time now. That this is a bacterial/yeast thing. The good bacteria has not  been winning the fight in our mouths. I was thinking how to get more good bacteria and get rid of the bad bacteria. I know that some bad bacteria will exist, but not at the levels (too much) I'm thinking they are. Usually, you have to get an OTC or Rx to get rid of bacterial/yeast infection so it will no doubt take some type of medicine, but what could that be. Surely it's not what we use in our v-jay-v-jay. I'm going to discuss this with the ENT, unfortunately my appt. is not until the end of July. I wonder about my family physician. I hate to make too many appt.s with my new job, eventhough it's a temporary agency job. I want to keep a good working record. Thanks for the info.

Carrie0143

alright i've officially gone crazy but i figured i might as well share this info with you since ur a female. i had a vagisil screening kit i used a while back that test the ph levels inside you v-jay v-jay to determine if you have a yeast infection or bacterial infection. All you do is press a piece of ph paper to your inside walls and match the color it turns with the color palate they give you to determine if its normal. mine turned a normal yellow color, a ph of 4.5, which is normal in the vagina. It comes with an extra one incase you wanna check again. so i just had this idea of stickin the paper on my tongue and see what color it turned. i was curious. well it turned a dark green which on the palate indicates bacterial infection. what'd u think? is there a link?

Carrie0143

haha ur so funny. i seriously thought about SSI. Because it truly does affect me at work! Its really hard sometimes. But what would the lawyers and such say to try to defend our case??ya know? Its ridiculous! but i'm tellin u i am gettin so sick of this. i feel like my life would be perfect if i didnt have this(well almost lol) i dont know what to do. i'm just gonna get down on my knees and pray to God so hard to heal me of this. i almost feel like he's punishing me or something.

Carrie0143

I'll try it i guess because i never eat either so it maybe worth a try. the best solution i've found is literally gagging my self with my tongue scraper. lol u read so much information on how bacteria gets trapped on the tongue especially on the back, so today when i brushed my teeth i tried to scrape as far back as i could and i mean like down my throat. That seems to work the best for me so far.
